Can you see Mt. Hood from Council Crest?

View from Council Crest toward Mt. Hood, which is hidden behind a veil of mist and fog hiding everything beyond 200 yards or so. The sky is a dull gray blankness. In the mid-foreground, near the park portapotty, two road cyclists in expensive kit are leaning on their bikes and having a conversation. Several other cars are parked along the road nearby; most belong to the habitual park dog-walkers, two of which are visible downslope. Someone is unloading a mountain bike (possibly electric) from the back of a car. All of this activity occupies only a tiny sliver of the total photo area. Photo is desaturated of color with heightened contrast. Despite the relative activity in the scene the overall effect is one of cold bleakness and human insignificance.
