Can you see Mt. Hood from Council Crest?

Difficult to describe this weather & sky. A steel gray “high deck” of stratus clouds stretches from just above the mountain to cover the entire sky. Mt. Hood is visible, dimly below this cloud deck. It is not especially hot, neither is it terribly cool. It is neither dry nor humid. The wind isn’t dead but it isn’t windy either. About 80°F, 45% humidity. It’s like tepid spit. The plants are vivid, the air smells of vegetation. In the foreground a group of middle aged white people in straw hats mill about park benches.
